Peshmerga Ministry officer graduates from prestigious U.S. Air War College

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) –Arkan Ahmad Rojbayani, an officer in the Peshmerga Ministry, has successfully graduated from the AY24 Air War College in the United States, alongside 150 U.S. officers.

Rojbayani participated in the intensive program held at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama, working closely with U.S. officers from various military branches, including aviation, infantry, navy, and marines.

The course also included 20 U.S. security personnel and 48 international officers from allied nations.

According to a statement from the Peshmerga Ministry, the primary aim of the course is to train and prepare security officers and personnel for strategic defense roles.

The curriculum emphasized theoretical and research-based studies in defense strategy, covering military principles and strategy, command strategy, global military competition, and current global security challenges, as well as military-political relations.

Rojbayani highlighted the respect and recognition afforded to the Peshmerga among U.S. officers, noting that the sacrifices of the Kurdish people and the Peshmerga are well-regarded and honored. He is the first Kurdish officer to participate in and successfully complete this prestigious course.

The graduation of Rojbayani from the AY24 Air Warfare College marks a significant milestone for the Peshmerga Ministry, reflecting the ongoing efforts to enhance the strategic capabilities and international cooperation of Kurdish security forces.
