ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani on Sunday said they have a mutual understanding with the Iraqi government.

The Kurdistan Region President’s remarks came during a speech he delivered at the American University of Kurdistan (AUK) graduation ceremony in Duhok.

“The university must provide graduates to society, which in all aspects responds to the needs of the job market and the current and future economic development of the country,” Barzani stated.

He also stressed that university graduates must have the ability to confront any crisis.

“I have full faith in the intelligence and ability of the youth, as well as the concern and loyalty of the teachers, so I am optimistic and hopeful that tomorrow will be better than today,” the Kurdistan Region President noted and added, “Today when I see these young people graduating from university, the future of Kurdistan seems brighter and brighter.”
