ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani inaugurated the Eagle Post Center in Erbil today, marking a significant step towards the digitization of the postal and delivery sector in the region.

Dr. Halo Talabani, owner of Eagle Post, expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Barzani for his support of the project.

"Since the beginning of the ninth cabinet, one of the main agendas was to start the digitization process in all aspects of governance and service delivery. This project [Eagle Post] complements the ninth cabinet's agenda, which has always emphasized the provision of services for the citizens," Dr. Talabani stated.

Highlighting the importance of postal services, Dr. Talabani said, "Postal services are essential for the transportation of citizens' needs and have become part of the convenience and daily performance of citizens."

He further underscored the advancements made through Eagle Post, a joint venture with the Ministry of Transportation and Communications of the Kurdistan Regional Government.

"We have developed the digitalization of the postal sector through Eagle Post, guided by modern transportation and communications to meet the needs of citizens," he emphasized.

Dr. Talabani also noted the broader economic implications, stating, "Improvement and facilitation in the postal sector are necessary and will be an important contributor to economic development, as well as building trust between companies and citizens."
