Shemzinan district’s natural site have been sprawled with rubbish

ERBIL ( Kurdistan 24) – The main road to the town and the side river of Shemzinan covered with rubbish, sprawled plastics, bags, cans and different litter. It has destroyed the nice view of the nature in that area.

The district Şemzînan (Şemdinli) in the Colemerg city in Turkey (north of Turkey), connects Colemerg to the Urmia city of the east of Kurdistan and Erbil in Kurdistan Region borders, she is famous with a nice nature and geographical position.

People from Şemzînan (Şemdinli) complain about the side road and river left untidy and uncleared, a large amount of dumped litter in the area, and is in view. The dumped garbage is not biodegradable, within time it changes from nature spoiler into toxic harmful substance. The dumped garbage crawls into the river, causes pollution to the vision, air, river, contagious animal and human diseases, affirmed by the ordinary people in Shemzinan.

The businessman Sabri Ozal who resides in Kurdistan Region, was on a family and homeland visit in Shemzinan. He reported the sprawled and dumped rubbish in that area to the Colemerg local authority. He compared it with the Kurdistan Region, praised the hygiene standards, looking after the lands and environmental care guidance.

Another national individual from the north of Kurdistan Salim Nahri stated “Our area is very nice and fabulous, unfortunately, no one is taking the responsibility to clear away all the large piles of litter”

“Alongside the river there are plastics and piled up garbage caused filthiness to the river too, we need to copy Kurdistan Region, they love their country and keep it hygienic, tidy and clear. We have to look after our beautiful natural world of Shemzinan, to enjoy the scene and smell not to run away because of the rotten smell,” Salim added. 

Bervian Shemzini confirmed "The road is filthy and full of rubbish, people breed cattle in that area. It is risky to the life and environment, most of time we keep out our houses’ windows shut because of the bad smell”

Matin Harki is from Kurdistan Region, was on a trip to Colemerg and the north of Kurdistan revealed that area of the north of Kurdistan has a very nice natural view.

“People dump rubbish on the road and in to the river, made the area appalling. Hopefully, people start to look after the town, the dumping litter and rubbish harm the agriculture, health, environment and water resources” Matin added.
