US Security Expert: Baghdad hesitates arming Peshmerga

WASHINGTON, United States (Kurdistan24) - In an exclusive interview with Kurdistan24 on Friday, Rebeccah L. Heinrichs, a Hudson Institute Fellow talks about the importance of arming Kurdish Peshmerga forces in the fight against the Islamic State (IS). Heinrichs believes that the US should continue supporting Peshmerga and states that the Iraqi Federal Government has been very slow and hesitant to arm Peshmerga.
