Five Kurdish players selected for Iraqi National Team's training camp in Doha

Iraq's head coach, Jesús Casas, has invited a total of 21 players to join the training camp as the team prepares for the next stage of the World Cup qualification campaign.

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Five Kurdish players have been included in the preliminary squad for the Iraqi national football team’s upcoming training camp in Doha, Qatar, ahead of the World Cup qualifiers.

Iraq's head coach, Jesús Casas, has invited a total of 21 players to join the training camp as the team prepares for the next stage of the World Cup qualification campaign.

The Kurdish players named in the squad are Akam Hashim, Rebin Sulaka, Pashang Abdullah, Osama Rashid, and Heran Ahmad.

The squad also includes notable players such as Jalal Hassan, Hussein Hassan, Ali Kadhim, Mustafa Saadoun, Safaa Hadi, Amjad Attwan, Hassan Abdulkareem, Louaï El Ani, Ahmed Yahia, Manaf Younis, Ahmed Maknazi, Saad Natiq, Ziad Tahseen, Mohammed Altai, Mohammed Qasim, and Mohanad Ali.

Iraq is set to face Oman in the third qualifying round on May 5, followed by a match against Kuwait on May 10.
