UK Parliament Correspondence Team addresses Kurdistan 24

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – In a recent response by Parliamentary Correspondence Team to Kurdistan 24, reaffirming the UK support to Kurdistan Region and Kurds.

In the statement by Parliamentary Correspondence Team in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, the relations between the UK and Kurdistan Region have always been and will continue.

“The UK regularly engages with the Kurdistan Regional Government’ it added “This includes through our diplomatic representations in Iraq, both the British Embassy in Bagdad and British Consulate General in Erbil”

However, in the meantime and amid intensive tension in the Middle East, the department highlighted that the UK supports a thriving Kurdistan Region within a peaceful, prosperous and multicultural Iraq.

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO)

It is a British well-known and important governmental organization, in charge of UK’s diplomatic, development and consular work around the world. FCDO is a ministerial department, backed by 12 other governmental agencies and public bodies from UK.

Almost 17,000 employees and staff work for the FCDO, in the global network, it is divided onto 281 offices across the world.
