PM Masrour Barzani approves over 30 billion dinars worth of projects for Duhok province

During the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government, over 959 projects, both large and small, were carried out in Duhok province, costing more than 1 trillion and 81 billion dinars. These projects were distributed equitably across the districts.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Duhok Governor Ali Tatar announced on Sunday, September 8, 2024, that with the approval of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, various projects exceeding 30 billion dinars in cost will be implemented in the province.

Key Projects Include:

- The first phase of the Duhok Dam corniche

- Reorganization of the Chiay Zawa market and master plan

- Reorganization and asphalting of main streets in central Duhok

- Various projects in Zawita and Mangeshke

Governor Tatar expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Barzani, the Council of Ministers, and relevant parties for addressing the majority of the needs expressed by Duhok residents.

During the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government, over 959 projects, both large and small, were carried out in Duhok province, costing more than 1 trillion and 81 billion dinars. These projects were distributed equitably across the districts.

Out of the total 959 projects, 485 are now operational, while work continues on another 423. Furthermore, approval has been granted for an additional 51 service projects within the Duhok governor's office.
