Ezidi survivor: IS exchanged women as gifts
WASHINGTON, United States (Kurdistan24) - Nadia Murad, a Kurdish Yezidi (Ezidi) Human Rights Activist who survived enslavement and human trafficking at the hands of the Islamic State (IS), tells her story during a seminar in Washington, DC.
Murad was captured by IS extremists following the occupation of Sinjar (Shingal) city in August 2014.
