ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) – Watch as Peshmerga and Iraqi forces take part in the military operation of liberating Mosul (northern Iraq) from the Islamic State (IS) live on Kurdistan24.
IS occupied Mosul in June 2014. Since then, the insurgent group has lost swaths of territory they once controlled.
Iraqi security forces and Kurdish Peshmerga with the support of the US-led coalition warplanes have launched an offensive to free the city from the jihadist group.
