Kurdistan Region to supply Diyala with electricity
Erbil (Kurdistan24) – Electricity has been supplied through electricity substation between Kalar and Sayed Jabr with a unit 132 kV. In Jalawla district after completing the project from every respect, unloading the network lines and cables to transport the usage and generating the power station.
The company stated “Being abide by the Minister of the Electricity Ziad Ali Fadel’s instructions, it is necessary to follow up the electricity network with the Iraqi Kurdistan Region,”
“Also with the General Manager of the Mid Electricity Distribution Alaa Samir Aljboori’s follow ups, enabled the electric engineering, technical assets of the Diyala electricity distribution from the domain company and in cooperation with all other local branches to generate the electricity network project between Diyala and Kurdistan Region in her early stage of supplying 90MW,”
The statement revealed the cables and overhead lines will be provided to the power substations. The project is to provide the electrical supply to the power stations in the northern and althabita Jalawla, Qara Tapa and Kashkol, 11/33 kV from the transport station in Sayed Jabr through pylons, overhead lines, cables, and substations with 132/33 kV.
It is worth mentioning linking the electricity network to the Kurdistan Region has provided sources to the power, merits high trust, stability to the networks and raising the power supply in the province.
