Contact line, E-service will be in hand for people in Erbil

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – In a press conference on Thursday, Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw announced two important services will be available for the public. The first one is a contact line which is during the working hours on a daily basis.

Khoshnaw stated “It is several months efforts made towards that service, an office set up and dedicated in Erbil Governate Office by a private company. The line can take as many calls as it can at the same time, also a number of trained staff are available on the line to take complaints, requests, any issues or any topic by people, the calls will get recorded too”

According to Khoshnaw’s announcement the help line is a way to pass people’s request on to the governmental offices. People’s issues, requests, complaints and/ or anything else get transferred to the relevant department or if it is related to the governate office directorate.

“The phone call will follow the procedure that is defined by the dedicated department or office. So to raise any individual’s requests in a short time and to be processed as soon as possible” Khoshnaw added.   

The contact line is 0750 600 0707, it is a hot line during the official working hours of the public offices and departments for all the residents who live within the Erbil city border.

The second service is E-Service, it is an online service, through the Erbil governate official web page, people can put their requests, and complaints through. There will be a response to each of the requests, complaints and anything else. 

“According to the procedure and department rules, the response will be provided. As well as guidance and advices will be in the response to show the confirmation of the request receipt, what are the steps and what follows” Khoshnaw added.

The official website is (hawler.gov.org), in the (E-Service) section, people can select and follow the steps to put their requests and matters through anytime. The application gets processed according to the rules forementioned.

“The government is at people’s service, does what it can for its people, there is no barrier between people and the governmental establishments. It is probably saving people’s time through those two new services” The Governor ended his announcement with.
