Peshmerga, Security Forces’ June, May Delayed Monthly Payment
ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – “On a telephone conversation, the Kurdistan Region Government’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani contacted the Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, to discuss the security forces’ payrolls” Kurdistan 24 was advised by Kurdistan Regional Government’s Spokesperson Peshawa Hawramani on Wednesday.
Hawramani confirmed that the Kurdistan Region Government’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani talked about the telephone conversation he made with the Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani today in the weekly meeting held at the KRG Council of Ministers.
He reassured that soon the Peshmerga and Security forces’ payrolls issue will get fixed.
The Council Minster’s weekly meeting chaired by the Kurdistan Region Government’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Wednesday, one of the main topics discussed was the May and June monthly salaries of Peshmerga and Security forces.
The discussion followed the delay of the Peshmerga’s and Security forces June and May’s monthly salaries occurred by the Iraqi Ministry of Finance.
According to the statistics services, the Ministry of Finance and Economy there are 1 million, 114 thousand and 194 employees who are on the payroll, and the monthly net pay is 913 billion dinars.
