Minister of Municipalities and Tourism arranged meeting with public services, directorates in Duhok
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – According to a statement made by Ministry of Municipalities and Tourism regarding any complaints by people about any departments from the Governmental (public) services, legal actions will be taken against, for the people.
In a meeting was held on August 8th, 2024, with the council directorates, Water Sources, Archaeology, Planning and Sewage Directorates, the Kurdistan Region Government’s Ministry of Municipalities and Tourism, Sasan Awni focused on the human resources and admin elements in any public services and departments, as they are there to make more improvement in the city as well as to implementing those plans that have been arranged in the town center of Duhok, and for the areas around it.
“Therefore, any complaints by members of the public about any directorates, offices, services and departments, the service or that department will face an admin sentence” Awni said.
The Minister of Municipalities and Tourism urged the service institutions to use all their human and administrative resources for further improving in the city and the implementation of serving projects in the center of Duhok and its areas around.
The statement issued by the Ministry of Municipalities, explained the purpose of Awni’s visit to Duhok, which was to closely be aware of the quality service also to watch how the work is managed in all the public services.
Awni confirmed that the Prime Minister Masrour Barzani constantly emphasizes about governmental services and institutions must serve the people and cities to the best way. In term of such policy by Kurdistan Regional Government, to work the same way as it was done well before, now to offer with more ability and energy, so to serve the people and use all human and admin resources for further development in the city and projects to take place in the center of Duhok and surrounding areas.
Another matter was discussed in the meeting; to achieve better work management and handling peoples’ enquiries, the Minister of Municipalities and Tourism recommend all the departments to review their work plans, eliminate the delaying routines also speed up people’s work flow.
He underscored any complaints about any of the public services would be made by people, then the service or that department will face an admin sentence.
