ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during his three-day visit to Iraq, emphasized the importance of unity, harmony, and cooperation across the Islamic world.

His remarks came in a social media post on Sunday evening, where he outlined the key objectives of his trip.

In his Kurdish-language post, President Pezeshkian announced the signing of 14 cooperation agreements between Iran and Iraq, underscoring the countries' growing partnership. "The purpose of this visit to our friendly and neighboring country, Iraq, was centered around fostering unity, harmony, and solidarity," Pezeshkian stated.

He further highlighted the significance of these agreements in strengthening bilateral relations, stating, "Our immediate priority is to establish a common language and vision between our two nations. The productive meetings held during our visit will undoubtedly lead to greater solidarity and cooperation."

Pezeshkian reiterated that the broader goal of his visit was to promote unity and agreement not only between Iran and Iraq but across the entire Islamic world.

The Iranian president's visit was marked by high-level meetings with Iraqi officials, including a stop in the Kurdistan Region, where he was accompanied by a delegation of senior political and economic representatives.
