US Consul General reiterates military support for Peshmerga
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) – The US Consul General in Erbil Matthias Mitman told Kurdistan24 during a Saturday ceremony that Washington will continue to find a better way to provide more military assistance to Kurdish Peshmerga forces in the fight against the Islamic State (IS). He also expressed his view on the Kurdish referendum which is believed to take place in 2016.
