THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS (Kurdistan24) - The Netherlands on Thursday celebrated the 50th birthday of King Willem-Alexander with orange-clad citizens, parties and street sales all over the country.
The King's family spend the day in Tilburg city where thousands of people were present, donning orange crowns and lining the streets to catch a glimpse of the King, his wife Maxima, and their three children.
"I'm very happy. It's my birthday and I can celebrate it together with so many people," Willem-Alexander told national broadcaster NOS as he walked through the crowded streets. "The whole of Tilburg is like a warm bath."
