Kurdish woman found dead in South Nashville, US

Metro police began investigations after finding a woman shot to death on Friday morning local time in South Nashville.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) – Metro police began investigations after finding a woman shot to death on Friday morning local time in South Nashville.

The victim was Vian Ahmed Kasim, a 31-year-old Kurdish woman from Nashville in the state of Tennessee.

Police found her dead inside a Kia Soul at 8:00 a.m.

According to the police statement, the car was parked on Swiss Avenue at the Swiss Ridge Apartments.

Police mentioned an investigation has started to discover more about why Kasim was at the Swiss Ridge Apartments while she reportedly lived on Bell Road.

Authorities revealed no further information, stating the detectives are trying to identify the killer.
