Finnish Amb. to Iraq pledges continued support for KRG in meeting with PM Barzani

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, received the outgoing Finnish Ambassador to Iraq, Vesa Häkkinen.

The meeting came as Häkkinen "concludes his diplomatic mission in the Middle East," a statement from Barzani's office said.

"Prime Minister Barzani thanked Mr. Häkkinen for his service, and wished him future success."

"The outgoing ambassador expressed his gratitude for the KRG’s help during his term, and expressed his country’s will to continue supporting the Kurdistan Region," the statement concluded.
