PM Barzani, Turkish President Erdogan in session

They discussed the ongoing situation in Iraq and the broader region, as well as enhancing bilateral relations.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan are meeting in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the sidelines of the World Government Summit.

The Turkish Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Defense, Energy, Natural Resources, and Trade attended the meeting between Prime Minister Barzani and President Erdogan, according to a statement from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

They discussed the ongoing situation in Iraq and the broader region, as well as enhancing bilateral relations.

Both sides emphasized the significance of enhancing cooperation and coordination to uphold security and stability in the region.
