'Denying reality won't help solve Iraq issues'
MOSCOW, Russia (Kurdistan24) – During a press conference held on Monday in Moscow, head of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Foreign Relations Office, Hemin Hawrami, stated that the Kurdistan Region's experience in Iraq since 1920 has been genocide and destruction.
He believes that Iraq is a failed state and has not developed since 2003. In another part of the conference, Hawrami discussed the situation in the Kurdistan Region, Erbil-Baghdad relations, Kurdish referendum and Syrian Kurdistan (Rojava).
Hawrami and his delegates are currently visiting Moscow as representatives for the President of the Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, to participate in some meetings with Russian diplomats and political parties.
