A massive landslide in Sudan’s Darfur flattened the village of Tarasin, killing over 1,000 people with only one survivor, the Sudan Liberation Movement said. The group urged urgent UN aid, but ongoing war and heavy rains are hampering rescue and relief efforts in the conflict-hit region.
