In his speech, al-Ghurairi shared his reflections on the journey from Sulaimani to Halabja. "Every inch tells a story of heroism," he remarked.

"A good land, a generous land, a proud Kurdistan. We have the right to be proud of the development, reconstruction, and construction happening here. Today, we are witnessing significant interest from the regional government," he stated.

Al-Ghurairi praised Prime Minister Barzani for his focus on agriculture, emphasizing its critical role. "By enhancing storage capacities and integrating efforts from the federal government, we support the farmers and growers of this strategic commodity. This ensures food security, as a nation that produces its own food will never go hungry."

He highlighted recent achievements in Iraq's agricultural sector, noting, "Last year, we reached 5.2 million tons across Iraq. Today, we have reached 5.5 million tons, and in the Kurdistan Region alone, self-sufficiency has been achieved, mirroring the success seen throughout Iraq."

Al-Ghurairi concluded by stressing the importance of agricultural investment. "I came here from Baghdad because I am convinced that focusing on agriculture, providing storage capacities, preserving stock, reducing surplus, and achieving food security are vital to our national security and self-sufficiency."
