ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – A team from Prime Minister Masrour Barzani's office is currently investigating the demands made by the public, according to a spokesperson for the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

KRG Spokesperson Peshawa Hawramani told Kurdistan 24 on Monday that “the Prime Minister does not want barriers between himself and the people in addressing their demands. He seeks to listen to the demands of the people directly.”

“All the demands made to Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, both recent and earlier, will be taken seriously,” Hawramani said. “Not a single request will be marginalized, and a special team in the prime minister's office will follow up on every one of them.”

Hawramani urged political parties not to obstruct Prime Minister Barzani's projects, stating, “I do not ask anyone to help the Prime Minister; I ask them not to obstruct him. Obstruction without support poses a significant hurdle. If these efforts are not undermined, the Prime Minister could undertake bigger and better projects and provide improved services to the people.”

The spokesperson noted that some politicians oppose major government projects, including "MyAccount," through their media channels.

“If the MyAccount project is fully implemented, money laundering, corruption, employing people under false names, and other illegal activities will disappear,” he said.

Prime Minister Masrour Barzani recently met with several citizens in Sulaimani province.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized his role as a civil servant dedicated to serving the people. “God is my witness that I have not hesitated to undertake my duties, and I shall continue to serve my nation. The greatest wealth one could have is to be approved and loved by one’s people,” he stated.
