Barzani Charity Foundation Supports Families in Kirkuk, Plans Ramadan Aid

ERBIL (Kurdistan)24 – Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) distributed financial assistance and essential household items to numerous impoverished families in Kirkuk on Wednesday.

Rebwar Mohiuddin, head of the foundation’s branch in Kirkuk, told Kurdistan24 that the organization plans to extend further support to struggling families during the holy month of Ramadan.

“We are preparing to build homes, supply vital household necessities, and address a variety of essential needs for underprivileged families throughout Ramadan,” Mohiuddin said, adding that registration for eligible families is currently underway.

Additionally, Mohiuddin stated that the foundation will provide daily Iftar meals to financially struggling families.

“Ramadan is a sacred month, and we aim to ensure as many families as possible benefit from our aid during this blessed time in Kirkuk,” he concluded.

The Barzani Charity Foundation is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization that was founded in 2005 in Erbil, the capital city of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI).

The BCF’s humanitarian activities have transcended Iraq’s borders and it has carried out various activities to assist the most vulnerable in Turkey, Syria, Australia, Bangladesh, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Lebanon, and South Sudan. The BCF’s projects rely on its sponsors and donors and are supported by volunteers.
