ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — President Masoud Barzani on Monday extended heartfelt congratulations to the Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, commending its longstanding humanitarian mission and impactful work in assisting vulnerable communities.

In a statement marking the anniversary, President Barzani conveyed his warm wishes to the foundation’s leadership, staff, and all those who have contributed to its success over the past two decades.

“On the 20th anniversary of the Barzani Charity Foundation, I extend my sincere congratulations to its President, directors, and employees,” Barzani stated. “I express my deep appreciation for the foundation’s noble humanitarian efforts in supporting the displaced, those affected by crises, as well as patients, orphans, the poor, and low-income families.”

President Barzani praised the foundation for carrying out its work in a “dignified and honorable manner,” noting that its contributions are a source of pride.

“The foundation fulfills its duties with commitment and integrity, and its efforts deserve admiration and respect,” he said.

He also thanked all individuals and teams working within the organization, acknowledging their dedication to serving people in need across the Kurdistan Region and beyond.

“I thank the leadership and staff of the Barzani Charity Foundation and commend their tireless work,” Barzani added. “I wish them continued success and sustainability.”

Established in 2005, the Barzani Charity Foundation has become one of the most prominent humanitarian organizations in the region, playing a vital role in crisis response, poverty alleviation, and community support throughout Iraq and neighboring areas.

Marking its 20th anniversary, Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, earlier in the day, praised the foundation’s enduring commitment to aiding impoverished, displaced, and low-income communities without discrimination.

In a statement commemorating the milestone, Barzani lauded the BCF’s respected role in delivering essential services across Iraq, neighboring countries, and internationally. He also highlighted the importance of the foundation’s partnerships with donors, NGOs, and humanitarian agencies, expressing gratitude for their shared efforts.
