ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) – The University of Kurdistan-Hawler (UKH) held a two-day conference to discuss and address the economic and security issues plaguing Kurdistan, as well as the relationship between Erbil and Baghdad.
The conference, held on Wednesday and Thursday at the Saad Abdullah Conference Hall in Erbil, was entitled “Iraqi Kurdistan at Crossroads: Current Issues of Domestic and Middle Eastern Politics” and was hosted by the UKH’s Center for Regional and International Studies (CRIS).
The head of the Organizing Committee Professor, Alex Danilovich, previously told Kurdistan24 that “unlike other conferences held in the region that look more like political or media events, ours is an academic conference.”
