Iraqi, Japanese foreign ministers meet in Baghdad

"The meeting focused on the economic sector, investments and consolidating ties between the two countries."

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi arrived in Baghdad on an official visit on Saturday. He met with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein and is expected to meet other officials.


"The meeting focused on the economic sector, investments and consolidating ties between the two countries," the Associated Press reported.


Motegi will also be meeting Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi.
