Senior Iraqi official hails Kurdistan model, calls it success for all of Iraq

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and the delegation of an Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI) delegation met in Erbil on Saturday and stressed the importance of coordination between the country's political parties the efforts to form a new government falter.

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) said in a statement that Prime Minister Barzani received ISCI President Humam Hamoudi and an accompanying delegation. The officials discussed the latest developments and the political process in Iraq, as well as talks to form a new Iraqi government.

Barzani and Hamoudi emphasized the importance of coordination between different political forces to resolve differences through dialogue.

The senior Shiite figure praised the KRG's successful experience in governance and affirmed it is a triumph for all of Iraq.
