Kurdistan Masoud Barzani Falih Al-Fayyadh PMF Pirmam

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) President and former president of Iraq’s Kurdish region Masoud Barzani on Thursday met with Falih Al-Fayyadh, the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in Pirmam, Salahadin.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the current political situation of Iraq, the region and the security threats. They also condemned last week’s drone attack on Peshmerga forces in Pirmam.

The Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani earlier announced an investigation into the incident.

The meeting also discussed the relations between Baghdad and Erbil and the implementation of the programs of the Iraqi government.

On Wednesday, Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) President Masoud Barzani also met with the National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji and discussed the current situation and relations between Baghdad and Erbil.
