Training course will be launched for Tourism and Fine Arts graduates

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – A training course will be launched on Wednesday, in coordination with UNDP and USAID for crafts in the tourism sector, according to Ibrahim Abdulmajid, spokesperson for the Kurdistan Region General Board of Tourism.

“The purpose of this course is to educate and inspire those who wish to pursue crafts and to provide job opportunities in this field. The participants of the course must be graduates of Tourism and Fine Arts,” the spokesperson said.

Abdulmajid also revealed that the course will last five days, and the cost of the course is sponsored by UNDP.

“After the course, the tourism board will assist participants with working in a tourist destination and marketing its products. At the end of the course, an exhibition of handicrafts will be held for the participants,” he added.

Participants will be awarded certificates of participation. They must also bring their graduation certificates on the day of the interview. The deadline for applications is March 31st.
