KRG delegation engages in bilateral talks with Qatari officials
Erbil (Kurdistan24) - Over the course of three days, a delegation representing the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has been actively engaged in discussions in Doha, Qatar, focusing on investment, sports, and municipal matters with Qatari counterparts.
Gohdar Shekho, the supervisor of Zakho administration, shared insights into the fruitful deliberations conducted during the visit.
Shekho emphasized the delegation's productive exchanges with Qatari officials, highlighting the pivotal agenda items discussed.Chief among them was the exploration of investment opportunities within the Kurdistan Region, with a specific focus on the Zakho Independent Administration.
Notably, discussions with Qatari investors yielded promising prospects for future engagements, including planned visits to the Kurdistan Region and Zakho.
Furthermore, Shekho underscored the delegation's efforts to elucidate the objectives of the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, aiming to garner support and interest from potential investors.
