KRG President engages in talks with Iraqi President in Baghdad

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) President Nechirvan Barzani held a significant meeting with Iraqi President Latif Rasheed in Baghdad today.

Central to their discussions was the current state of affairs in the country and the imperative of maintaining peace and stability.

Both leaders stressed the paramount importance of advancing economic development and bolstering public services, reaffirming their support for the federal government in implementing its agenda.

The dialogue between Erbil and Baghdad, aimed at addressing issues in accordance with the Constitution, was a focal point of the meeting.

Furthermore, President Barzani and President Rashid highlighted the necessity of cooperation and coordination between the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government across various sectors.

President Barzani reiterated the Kurdistan Region's commitment to constructive dialogue with Baghdad, particularly concerning the welfare of the public. President Rashid emphasized the significance of continued engagement and visits between delegations from both sides to address these pressing matters.
