WATCH: The process of coal production in Kurdistan

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) – In a feature documentary, Kurdistan24 explores the traditional method and process of creating coal in the Kurdistan Region.

The film provides a look at the process used by a local Kurdish factory to produce coal.

The method involves stages where the wood is gathered from a dried field of trees and put in a ditch.

The wood is then burnt and covered for a day before getting cleaned and sold in the market.

Tahir Abdulla, the owner of a coal factory, shows Kurdistan24 the entire in-depth process adopted by his company.
