Kurdish artist attends international art exhibition in Italy

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdish painter Arian Lateef told Kurdistan24 on Saturday that he had participated in an international art exhibition in Venice, Italy, which was attended by 80 artists from 40 different countries.

"This exhibition is sponsored by an Italian organization that has been involved in the art field for over ten years and conducts numerous artistic activities throughout the year," Lateef noted.

"I was the only Kurd invited to participate in this exhibition as a Kurdish artist. This will not be my only participation in international exhibitions. I have previously participated in 20 joint exhibitions and seven international exhibitions in Turkey, Greece, South Korea, Lebanon, and Italy," he added.

Lateef was born in 1994 in Sulaimani and graduated from the Department of Radiology at the Sulaimani Technical Institute. He started his artistic work in 2014.
