Kurdistan Youth (KDYU) delegation embarks on developmental course in China
ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) - In a bid to foster leadership and developmental skills among Kurdistan's youth, a delegation of 17 individuals, known as "Kurdistan Young," has embarked on a transformative journey to the People’s Republic of China.
Led by Maysar Neheli, Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Youth Union (KDYU), the delegation comprises representatives from diverse civil society organizations across the Kurdistan region.
The delegation's arrival in China marks the commencement of a rigorous developmental course aimed at equipping young Kurds with the tools and knowledge necessary to contribute meaningfully to their communities and beyond.
This initiative underscores Kurdistan's commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders and innovators.

During the opening ceremony of the course, Secretary Neheli set the tone by initiating proceedings with the rendition of the national anthem, "Ay Raqib," and delivering a poignant speech.
Neheli extended heartfelt condolences to those affected by the recent natural disasters in Duhok, Zakho, and Badinan, emphasizing solidarity with Kurds worldwide.
Addressing the delegation, Neheli emphasized the importance of understanding Kurdistan's true geographical boundaries, encompassing Greater Kurdistan, and recognizing the significant Kurdish diaspora scattered across the globe.
He underscored the influential roles played by Kurds in promoting coexistence, unity, and contributing to various fields, including politics, administration, and cultural enrichment.

The KSU and the KDYU were founded 71 years ago, on February 18, 1953, under the directive of the late Mustafa Barzani during the third Congress of the KDP in Kirkuk. Over the years, they have played a pivotal role in educating numerous cadres and leaders.
