KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani condemns Moscow terror attack

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani, issued a resolute condemnation following the heinous terrorist attack that struck Moscow on Friday night.

The Prime Minister expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the injured, and the people and government of Russia during this challenging time.

The attack, which unfolded in a concert hall in northern Moscow, resulted in the tragic loss of over 90 lives and left 130 others wounded.

 Swiftly after the assault, the notorious terrorist organization ISIS claimed responsibility, plunging the global community into shock and outrage.

In response to the devastating incident, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) wasted no time in initiating investigations. Head of the FSB briefed President Vladimir Putin, revealing that 11 individuals had been apprehended on suspicion of involvement in the attack. Among them were four perpetrators allegedly directly linked to the act of terrorism.

The attack in Moscow serves as a grim reminder of the persistent threat posed by extremist groups, reaffirming the urgent need for collective vigilance and concerted efforts to combat terrorism on a global scale. As nations unite in solidarity with Russia, the resolve to eradicate such senseless violence grows stronger.
