Kurdistan Masrour Barzani Zakho Gohdar Shekho

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Gohdar Shekho, the supervisor of the Zakho Independent Administration, announced in a presser on Sunday that with the support of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, 50 residential units will be distributed to low-income residents of Zakho.

Shekho also revealed that a total of 10,000 low-income families received food parcels during Ramadan.

“The people who became owners of the residential units were tenants and low-income individuals. Twenty residential units were distributed recently, and another thirty will be distributed today,” he added.

Zakho is a city located in the Dohuk province. It lies strategically on the borders of Turkey and Syria, which reinforces its reputation as a major trading hub. The city is home to several historical sites, such as the Zakho Citadel, a castle built in the 18th century, and the Shrine of Sheikh Adi ibn Musafir, a famous Sufi leader.
