PHOTOS: PM Barzani visits Lalish temple
During his visit to the temple, the Prime Minister told Kurdistan24 that they must ensure that the Yezidis who were displaced from Sinjar return to their homeland with “pride and dignity.”
ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Monday visited the Lalish temple and was welcomed by Mir Hazim Tahsin Beg and the Yezidi spiritual council.
During his visit to the temple, the Prime Minister told Kurdistan24 that they must ensure that the Yezidis who were displaced from Sinjar return to their homeland with “pride and dignity.”
