Coalition advisors plan to distribute more equipment to Ministry of Peshmerga
ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Sustainment Advisors from the US-led coalition against ISIS met with Ministry of Peshmerga M4 Directorate and Warehouse personnel on Sunday to plan divestments and distributions of new equipment to the Peshmerga in the upcoming weeks.
"The team visited the weapons warehouses to gain insight into current operations," Col. Todd Burroughs, Deputy Director of the US-led coalition's Military Advisor Group North, tweeted Sunday.

On Wednesday, the coalition provided another batch of Humvees to the Kurdistan Region's Peshmerga forces.
The Humvees were supplied to the Kurdistan Region Ministry of Peshmerga Ministry units and infantry brigades.

Also, on Feb. 25, US Colonel Patrick Douglas and Peshmerga officials visited the general logistics directorate of the Ministry of Peshmerga to investigate what specific equipment the ministry requires.

The Ministry of Peshmerga regularly receives assistance from the coalition. The assistance usually comes in the form of ammunition and vehicles provided through the US Department of Defense (DoD)-funded Counter-ISIS Train and Equip Fund (CTEF) program.
