New drone attack against Harir airport: CTD
The Harir base was reportedly attacked on Friday morning.

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Directorate General of Counter Terrorism (CTD) on Friday in a statement that Harir Air Base (also known as Bashur airbase) was attacked by drones.
The Harir base has been attacked before by Iran-backed armed groups on Nov. 8 and Nov. 9.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq group reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack on Harir airport.
The group said the base was attacked in response to Israeli attacks on Gaza.
Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Ms. Sabrina Singh on Thursday told reporters that 58 attacks had been carried out on US bases in Iraq and Syria since Oct. 17.
"All of which have been unsuccessful. They have not caused significant damage to infrastructure and they have not caused significant injury to any of our service members," she said.
"And all of our service members who have been injured have all returned to duty."
Moreover, she said the US so far responded three times in eastern Syria to the attacks.
"One of them hit a command and control node that was operating in a safe house, the others have weapons storage facilities, and a training facility," she said.
"So our attacks have significantly downgraded and degraded, I should say, the access that these militia groups have to these weapons and so we're not we're not waiting on something to act we are we have responded and if there are more attacks, we will certainly respond at a time and place of our choosing."
