KDP doesn’t accept any illegal interference in parliamentary elections, says spox

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Mahmood Mohammed, the spokesperson of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), announced in a statement on Monday that the party does not accept any illegal interference in the parliamentary elections and considers all technical defects to be necessary to resolve.

“A media outlet reported this evening that the KDP has requested to delay the parliamentary elections so that it may participate in the elections under the same conditions, measures, and laws as the previous election,” the statement added and noted, “This news has no basis in fact, as we declare herein.”

KDP Political Bureau in a statement on March 13 said that they "refrain from justifying unconstitutional and undemocratic elections.”
