KDP’s Political Branch III in Kirkuk, went under attack by snipers

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) - The office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party KDP's Political Branch III (the third) in Kirkuk province was attacked by snipers. The attack believed to have happened on Saturday July 27, in the early morning around 3 a.m. the local time.
The Head of the Branch Mohammad Kamal advised in a statement to Kurdistan 24 “The attack happened around 3:00 a.m. on Saturday’s early morning. Volley was heard from two different locations, there were two snipers firing at the branch, i.e. targeted the KDP’s Branch building, in reaction to the attack our security guards defended and fired back”
Mr. Kamal confirmed there weren’t any causalities, the snippers ran away. “The plan was obvious to aim the security check point outside the building of the branch, then to invade the building and commit terror actions” He further explained.
The KDP politician and the head of the branch underlined of no causalities, but expressed their worries about such attack, that would inkling a negative prediction. KDP officials requested a full investigation about that attack.
An investigation has begun by the local security force in the city
