Seven coalition personnel killed, injured by IED in Syria

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – Two coalition personnel were killed and five more were wounded by an improvised explosive device (IED) in Syria, Operation Inherent Resolve Command announced on Friday.
The explosion took place Thursday night at 9:00 GMT, according to the coalition statement.
“Wounded personnel received immediate care and are being evacuated for further medical treatment,” the statement reads.
It also mentions that the names of the deceased will be released at the discretion of the pertinent national authorities.
Additional details are being withheld pending further investigation, the statement added.
