BEIJING, China (Kurdistan24) – A series of seminars and media training sessions are being held in Beijing, organized by the Research and Training Institute (RTI) of the National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) of the People's Republic of China.
According to Kurdistan24 correspondent, Alan Zandi in Beijing, these events are designed for administrators and media and broadcasting experts from Silk Road countries, including a team from Kurdistan 24.
The seminars cover a wide range of topics, with a strong focus on the history and evolution of media, TV, and radio in China.
Zhao Mengjie, Deputy Director of the Institute and Deputy Minister of Media of the Republic of China, presented on the significant changes and developments in Chinese media and culture.
Another key speaker, the Deputy Director General of China Broadcasting Network Group Corporation Ltd (CBN), provided insights into China's television, radio, and internet landscape.
This included discussions on combating fake news, methods for identifying and ensuring the accuracy of news, and the broader impacts of media propaganda.
The Kurdistan 24 team, invited by the Chinese Consulate in Erbil, is planned to participate in various media and cultural training sessions.
These training programs are expected to enhance their understanding of media operations in China and foster international cooperation among Silk Road countries in the media sector.
The event signifies China's commitment to fostering international media collaboration and promoting a deeper understanding of its media landscape between People’s Republic of China and the Kurdistan Region.
