ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - In a significant crackdown on unlicensed medical practices, the General Directorate of Health in Erbil has announced the closure of 24 private medical laboratories and severe penalties for 21 others due to lack of licenses and non-compliance with health guidelines.
The Directorate's laboratory department uncovered and seized a number of expired laboratory medicines. The 24 laboratories operating without proper licenses were shut down, while 21 others were penalized for failing to adhere to established guidelines.
