Number of trainees demand employment from oil refinery company in Karbala
The demonstrators announced through the media networks, they only seek employment no more than that they would request for.

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – 10s of trainees on Tuesday July 23 in Karbala province, gathered requiring to be hired by the oil refinery company in the city.
The claimants protested in front of the petrol company, requesting to be supported by the government to get employed by the company. They claimed they finished their 6-month training and have been trained to operate all the equipment and tools, in addition to 5 years working experience they have in the refinery site.
They underlined they would continue to demonstrate peacefully, also would pass their request through Iraqi media network to the Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.
The purpose behind that was to obtain PM’s review at their files and paperwork, to make a decision on their interest, and consent regarding the employment.
According to protestors’ claims, the officials and In-charge-of positions people in the company promised these trainees to hire them once they finished the training.

According to the sources and formal agencies, their request would be pending because the annual budget, expenditure and revenues checking closed by the Iraqi Parliament, it was also announced that the government made a decision to stop employment procedures in all the governmental organizations and agencies.
Furthermore it was understood that the Iraqi Government encouraged job seekers to seek employment from the private sector.
