Sub-Districts of Bestana, Sreshma, Khalifan District, establishing county and townships

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – On Thursday, the Minister of Interior, Rebar Ahmed, attended an inauguration ceremony, appointing Maghdid Arif Ahmad, as the mayor of Khalifan District and Jegr Husen Karim as the Sub-District Manager of Sreshma in Soran Independent Administration, the area which is supervised by Halgurd Sheikh Najib.
As well appointed Dedawan Khalil Khalani Muhamed as Bestana Sub-District’s Manager in Erbil province.
Following taking the oath to serve the people, to be impartial, integrity and professional of the Kurdistan Regional Government to serve the people.
The Minister of Interior congratulated the candidates and encouraged them to take positions and responsibilities to serve people with impartiality, professionalism and meeting people’s needs and services.
Worth-mentioning, that the up-grading the administerial level of Khalifan from sub-district within the governorate county and the establishment of Sareshma sub-district in Soran as well as Bestana sub-district in Erbil province are among the new decisions of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
It was to serve people within those administerial zones and countryside also to apply 9th Cabinet policy at the Kurdistan Regional Government.
