PHOTOS: PM Barzani inaugurates Slevana wheat marketing factory

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, at the opening of the Slevana wheat marketing factory in Zakho on Saturday, emphasized the Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) commitment to expanding market access for local farmers, enabling their products to reach both regional and international markets.

Describing the Slevana project as "very important", the Prime Minister highlighted the factory's adherence to international standards and its role in the KRG's strategy to facilitate private sector marketing of farmers' wheat.

He expressed hope that the private sector would establish similar factories in Zakho and other regions, thereby further supporting farmers and aligning with the KRG's plans.

PM Barzani reiterated the ninth cabinet's dedication to the agricultural sector and food industry.
