ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Kurdistan Region is gearing up to participate in France's largest international agricultural exhibition next month, showcasing a range of domestic and organic products.
Mohammed Shukri, Chairman of the Kurdistan Board of Investment, made the announcement during his participation in the inaugural France-Kurdistan Economic Forum in Paris.
Shukri believes this participation, along with the economic forum, will open doors for expanding industry, investment, and marketing opportunities for Kurdistan's products in the future.
"This is a forum of industrialists and businessmen from abroad, an opportunity to have a comprehensive plan on how to focus on future relations with the Kurdistan Region and leverage its investment capabilities and characteristics," Shukri remarked regarding the forum.

He expressed satisfaction with the first day of the conference, noting that discussions centered around the industry, agriculture, and tourism sectors, reflecting the Prime Minister's plan to further develop these areas.
Significantly, Shukri revealed that an investment agreement will be signed today between a Kurdistan Regional Government company and a French company, highlighting the tangible outcomes already emerging from this forum.
The participation in the French International Agricultural Exhibition will provide further opportunities for Kurdistan to showcase its agricultural prowess and attract potential investors and trade partners, contributing to the region's economic growth and diversification.
The France-Kurdistan Economic Forum, a joint effort between the Kurdistan Regional Government's Investment Board and the French Economic Movement (MEDEF REUNION), signifies a significant step towards enhancing economic cooperation between the two regions and fostering a prosperous future.
